Unless personally performing A BETTER DJ AND PHOTOGRAPHER acts as a placement agency that will provide you with a subcontracted expert DJ/MC and/or professional photographer and/or videographer for your event. The music and digital photographs and/or video scheduled are agreed upon between ___________________ (CLIENT/BOOKING AGENT)
and Michael and/or Rina Marie Yanko dba A BETTER DJ AND PHOTOGRAPHER
to provide qualified performer(s) on the above date at the agreed upon time for DJ services and/or digital photographs and/or video.
We will provide:
___ professional DJ who will play the music you requested and MC your event.
Your DJ is scheduled for___ hours.
___ professional photographer(s) to take high resolution digital photographs at your event. Your photographer is scheduled for___ hours.
___ professional videographer to take high resolution video or HD video at your event. Your videographer is scheduled for___ hours.
We have provided you with a simple planner to help you and your DJ and/or photographer/videographer schedule the activities for your celebration and keep your event organized and flow smoothly. Please fill it out and return it no later than 2 weeks before the event. If the planner is returned after this date we can not guarantee to bring all of the music that you request.
If photography is scheduled these photos will be posted on a dedicated page on our wholesale printing site 3-5 weeks after the wedding for you and your guests to enjoy.
If Videography is scheduled a 15-20 minute mini-movie will be posted on Youtube within 3 weeks for you and your guests to enjoy. Discs with all of the raw footage in computer format and mini-movie in DVD format are available for only $21.20 each.
There is never a charge for set up or tear down time.
For outdoor events photography/video must stop immediately in the event of rain. Your photographer’s/videographer’s camera and lenses are very expensive and they can not get wet! (If the event is shortened because of rain our contract will be considered complete and no refunds are given nor implied)
Your assigned DJ and or photographer/videographer will (all) contact you the week of your event to introduce themselves and double check that all of the information you have submitted is correct and make any changes as needed. Be sure to ask your photographer about any desired editing and printing upgrades you are interested in.
Unless we are personally performing please have your venue provide a power outlet and a STRONG table against the wall at one end or side of the dance floor with a table cloth to match your decor. This table will be holding about 100 LBS of professional DJ equipment!

A deposit (booking fee) is required to book this date and serves as our fee. It is non refundable but is transferable to any other date with a 2 week notice. Your subcontracted DJ and/or photographer/videographer will be paid in cash direct by you or your designated agent at the start of your event unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Checks are not accepted as final payment!
*We are not responsible for any acts of GOD, nature, or lack of enough power that cause us to be unable to complete our performance. If it is an outdoor venue the client is to furnish sufficient shelter to keep the DJ and equipment out of the elements. Under no circumstances will he/she perform in an uncovered area. The client is responsible for the conduct of all guests. Should a guest become overbearing the event will pause for up to 15 minutes while the client handles the situation. Your DJ is NOT the babysitter for your guests or their children. In the event that the safety of your DJ, Photographer, videographer, or their equipment continue to be compromised the performance will then end and the contract will be considered completed. No refunds are given nor implied.
Please add just $100-200 (depending on distance) if you need a PA system at a 2nd location.

(We are sorry to have to emphasize this part but the show does not start until the balance is paid.)
Tips are at the sole discretion of the client.
Tips are greatly appreciated by your DJ and photographer/videographer if you sub-contracted those services. Most clients tip $50-100 each at the end of the night when the DJ (and/or photographer/videographer) do an excellent job.
Additional time added at the event is payable in advance at the rate of only $100 per hour per person.
Although we are insured, we nor your sub-contracted vendors are not responsible for any injuries incurred by guests at any venue ... please inform parents that they are responsible to keep their children away from the DJ and DJ equipment. (most of our speakers weigh at least 50 pounds AND OUR LIGHTS GET VERY HOT!)
This agreement is in effect as of receipt of deposit on__/__/__
