WEDDING DJ and WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER Contract

CONTRACT

*We are not responsible for any acts of GOD or nature or lack of enough power that cause us to be unable to complete our performance. If it is an outdoor venue the client is to furnish sufficient shelter to keep the DJ and equipment out of the elements. Under no circumstances will he/she perform in an uncovered area. For outdoor wedding ceremonies- in the event of rain the photography will stop immediately and will not continue until it stops raining. (1 drop of rain in the wrong place will fry a $1,000 camera or lens). No refunds are given nor implied.

Your DJ is NOT the babysitter for your guests or their children. The client is responsible for the conduct of all guests. Should a guest become overbearing the performance will pause for up to 15 minutes while the client handles the situation.  Although we are insured, we are not responsible for any injuries incurred by guests at any venue ... please inform parents that they are responsible to keep their children away from the DJ equipment.  (most of our speakers weigh at least 75 pounds AND OUR LIGHTS GET VERY HOT!)  In the event that the safety of your DJ, Photographer, or their equipment continue to be compromised the performance will then end and the contract will be considered completed.

(If you need to cancel just give us at least 14 days notice and your deposit will be applied to a future event. No refunds are implied nor given)

(We are sorry to have to emphasize this part but the show does not start until the balance is paid.)

Tips are at the sole discretion of the client.  Tips are greatly appreciated and split between the DJ and photographer if you contracted both services.  Most clients tip $50-100 when the DJ (and/or photographer) does an excellent job. Additional time is payable in advance at the rate of only $100 per hour per performer.

Unless personally performing A BETTER DJ AND PHOTOGRAPHER acts as a talent placement agency that will provide you with a qualified subcontracted expert DJ/MC and/or professional photographer for your event. The music and/or digital photographs scheduled are agreed upon between you (the above listed as client)

and Michael and/or Rina Marie Yanko dba

A BETTER DJ AND PHOTOGRAPHER

to provide (a) qualified performer(s) on the above date at the above time for DJ services and/or digital photographs. Our acceptance of your deposit through Paypal acknowledges that we have both accepted the terms of our verbal agreement for services to be provided as defined above.

If photography is scheduled these photos will be posted on a dedicated page on our site for you and your guests to enjoy. Discs with all of the pictures are available for only $21.20 each. There is no charge for set up or tear down time.
